August will have its events as well. On the 7th you have two choices 1) If you are running a little low on cash you can sign up for the Mini Cooper AutoX at Fed-Ex Field. Just sign up and burn someone else gas and tires. 2) If you have a little cash 175.00 (I think) you can head up to Summit Point and get some track time (no trucks, suv or vans). Helmets are needed and can be rented. The 14 has the All GM Show at Montgomery College, I have always heard good things about this show from different members of the Royals. The 21 brings us the 3rd Annual Jones All Pontiac Show hosted by the SVGTO and a Sonic run afterwards.

Ride for Pride (RFP)
“For those unfamiliar with this cruise, it's purpose is to remember all who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. It also holds the purpose of expressing our support and gratitude to all the men and women of this nation's armed forces, who right now are ensuring that we have the right, and the freedom, to conduct this event…”

General Stuff:
As usual if you know of a show or event in your
area please let me know so I can add to the calendar and help you get the
word out. Also so you wont be the only new age GTO there.
Side notes:
1)
I been thinking about what to do with our pictures and this thread gave me an ideal. Instead of everybody on ls2 it will be just CCGTO. I am thinking about a minimum of two pictures from the members one I would leave as it and the other I would put your screen name and real (like on the members list). One this will help everyone know each other, and two if you were thinking about a mod I am sure you will find someone in the club with it. I am also looking to throw in the mix pictures of us at gtg, car shows, etc.

I am thinking about the end of October for the first release.
2)
I have been talking/thinking about this for about a year now, just haven’t put any effort into it. It’s an evening cruise, hitting the roads around 6ish or so, maybe catching a late dinner. Like I said haven’t really thought about it too much but I have notice some chatter on the forum (ls2gto) about doing a cruise.
3)
Going up to Pittsburgh, Pa for a weekend to hang with out PA folks no date has been set.
J~
